Overview
The Alumni Association of TKR College of Engineering and Technology (TKRCET), established in 2008 and registered under Registration No. 322/2008, serves as a vibrant and enduring link between the institution and its graduates. Over the years, our alumni have distinguished themselves as accomplished engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs, academicians, and professionals across diverse fields, bringing honour and recognition to their alma mater.
The achievements of our alumni stand as a testament to the quality of education, values, and professional excellence nurtured at TKRCET. As students graduate and embark on their professional journeys, they carry with them not only the knowledge and skills acquired during their academic years but also the spirit, ethics, and aspirations that define the institution.
Our alumni community continues to maintain strong personal and professional bonds that extend far beyond the formal framework of the Alumni Association.

Dr. Ch. B. N. Lakshmi is the Dean of Alumni Affairs and is a distinguished academician with over 23 years of experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and student mentoring. She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, and her M.Tech. in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
Throughout her academic career, Dr. Lakshmi has served in various capacities including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, and Head of Department in reputed engineering institutions. She is presently serving as Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and as the Head of Second Year CSE at TKRCET.
As Dean of Alumni Affairs, Dr. Lakshmi is committed to strengthening alumni engagement and fostering meaningful collaborations between alumni, students, faculty, and industry. She actively promotes alumni participation in mentoring, internships, placements, guest lectures, curriculum development, entrepreneurship, and institutional growth initiatives.
In recognition of her contributions to education and research, Dr. Lakshmi has received several prestigious awards and honors. She was presented with the Outstanding Performance Award by TKR College of Engineering and Technology for the academic year 2023–24. She was also honored with the Uttama Adhyapika Award and the Jyeshta Acharya Award at the Bharath Educational Excellence Awards during the All India Level Ceremony of Education and Research. These awards were presented by distinguished dignitaries including the Chief Coordinating Officer of AICTE and the Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University.
