Computer Science and Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in 2002 with the goal of delivering integrated technology education to students from all across India and the world, thereby developing responsible citizens who would contribute to the advancement of their families, community, and nation. Under the dynamic guidance of Dr. A. Suresh Rao, the department is experiencing a moment of tremendous development and potential driven by the advancement of technology and its recognition.
Dr. A. Suresh Rao, is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and was conferred with the PhD Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from NIT Warangal, in the year 2015. He is currently the Vice Principal, Dean of Academics and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at TKRCET.
His experience spans across a period of 20 years; 02 years in the Industry and 18 Years in Teaching. Apart from teaching he is also a discerning administrator. Under his guidance more than 40 students have undergone project training at UG level and 20 students at PG level. Two batches of students have won 3rd prize in Smart India Hackathon 2017. He has 15 International and National Publications to his credit. He provides consultancy for various Government Bodies and Private firms in developing the required software for their automation, and also holds one patent in publishing state.

Program Overview
To achieve and evolve as a center of academic excellence and research center in the field of Computer Science and Engineering

- Providing the students with in-depth understanding of fundamentals and practical training related to professional skills and their applications through effective Teaching- Learning Process and state of the art laboratories pertaining to CSE and inter disciplinary areas.
- Preparing students in developing research, design, entrepreneurial skills and employability capabilities.
- Providing consultancy services and promoting Industry-Department Interactions.
A student will be able to
- Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
- Modern Tool Usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modelling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
- The Engineer and Society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
- Environment and Sustain ability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
- Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
- Individual and Team Work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multi-disciplinary settings.
