TKR College of Engineering & Technology, Library & Information Centre Central Library is the temple of learning; as such it is given top priority and centrally located. Library is the gateway of knowledge and culture. It has been established since inception of the College in the Year 2002.Located in the Central Block 2nd and 3rd Floor with Duplex model four sections. The library carpet area of more than 1740(sqm).The library is well equipped with modern facilities fully Automated with barcode technology. The Library at TKRCET is Integrated Knowledge Centre that is stock of 95,250 volumes(books), 12,086 Titles in all the disciplines of Polytechnic, B.Tech, M.Tech and MBA, Academic Studies and Research materials and articles spanning over the Last 22 years in addition the Library subscribed Print National, International Journals direct from publishers apart from, Online Journals EBSCO-IEEE, INFLIBNET N-List, DELNET, Technical Magazines and News Papers are also available.

- Readers and Visitors are requested not to bring their belongings in the library.
- Users are requested to learn the book / documents on the reading table after consultation.
- No documents issued brought to the library unless for returning
- Photo copying (Reprography and printing) services are available.
- Users are responsible for photocopying with Copyright Act. get while copying library documents.
- Improper use of library facility by a member will lead to the suspension of his / her membership.
- Silence and strict discipline should be maintained in the library by a user and the library staff. Every one shall ensure that no reader should feel disturbed in their study by any get of his / her.
- Mobile phones and other loud electronic materials are strictly prohibited inside the library premises.
- Member proceeding on long leave or discontinued etc., exceeding three months should return the documents that are borrowed.
- Certain documents are intended to be used only in the library premises. These include return books, some text books, rare books, current and bound periodical etc.
- Borrowers are requested to check if the documents being borrowed are complete and no pages are missing in it. In case of defect or damage in the book should be brought to the notice of the library staff.
- Borrowers are responsible for the documents they borrow documents lost, torn or damaged (tearing of pages, Underlining, making notes damaging of binding and the like) shall attract serious action and replacement of document concern.
- No documents shall be returned on the day of issue.
- While learning the library user should ensure that they carry only those books that are duly issued on their names otherwise disciplinary action will be taken against them.
- An overdue charge of Rs. 1 per day shall be charged against each Book / Document not returned within the due date.

A New student as to collect the membership form available at circulation counter and submit it along with 3 stamp size color photos and passport size photo addition with college fee receipt(Library copy) duly forwarded by Head of the Library & Information Centre. While collecting in the Library borrower cards should produce his/ her institute Identity card after collecting the Library cards next can barrow books from the Library. All students faculty and staff members are Issued Barcode cards their entitlement in terms of the number of Books that capable barrowed by then are as follows.

Two additional Library cards is given to Polytechnic and U.G. courses students those who secure aggregate marks of 75% and above. For P.G. courses students those who secure 70% and above and or students stood first and second place in the class.
