Dr. D.V.S.R. Anil Kumar is a Professor and Head of the Department of Humanities and Sciences at TKRCET. 

 He completed his Doctoral degree in Lattice Measures from Nagarjuna University in the year 2012.  He has an extensive teaching experience of over 21 years in the areas of Algebra, Real Analysis, Complex Analysis, Topology, Measure Theory, Number Theory etc. Apart from teaching he has worked as BOS Chairman to frame the Mathematics syllabus for R-17, R-18 and R-20 regulations. He has been working as a subject expert as well as a reviewer, item creator for TCSION from 2020 onwards. He is also a subject expert item creator for AICTE. He has over 40 national and international publications to his credit and has chaired sessions in international conferences. He has been elected as a life member by the Council of the Andhra Pradesh Society for Mathematical Sciences and is a senior member of the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology. As the Head of the Department, he has been creating an efficient interface for the First-year engineering students to move on to higher technical platforms in their second, third and final year B.Tech. courses.

About the S&H Department

The Department of Sciences and Humanities   was established in 2002.It offers different foundational courses in across various disciplines like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language, Communication Skills and Management for the first year students of B. Tech Programme.

The department offers quality education in teaching, learning and evaluation processes. It is supported with state-of-the art infrastructure and learning resources. The technologically-advanced laboratories and workshops, student-centric teaching methods, and blended learning platforms help students carry out their academic pursuit with ease.

 Research activities like workshops, seminars, publications, invited lectures etc are carried out by the department regularly for the benefit of both the students and faculty members.

The department also provides a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular platforms to the students with the aim of moulding them into better human beings. Various cultural activities and competitions are organised regularly by the department with the support of the management. The students are motivated to participate in programmes organised by the department in order to  face and tackle  real life situations and problems of the society.
