GUIDELINES TO APPLY FOR RECOUNTING/REVALUATION/CHALLENGING VALUATION (for B.Tech, M.Tech & MBA) |
It is to inform that TKR College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous) is following Double Evaluation System for evaluating Answer Scripts of students pertaining to Semester End Examinations (SEE). The Evaluation process will be OMR based and the evaluator will not put the marks at any part of the Answer Script other than the place marked for it, i.e., on the OMR Sheet only. The Invigilator will put an end stamp (THE END) on each script on the last page written by the candidate. The Evaluation must be done till the last page of the answer script or the page where the Invigilator put the end stamp. The answers written after this stamp will not be evaluated by the evaluator under any circumstances. Both Evaluators (Evaluator-I for first valuation & Evaluator-II for second valuation) should be appointed by the Controller of Examinations in consultation with the Chief Examiner of that particular subject. The Evaluators should be well qualified, experienced and currently working in reputed engineering colleges other than TKR College of Engineering & Technology. Evaluation must be done strictly as per the key supplied by the Chief Examiner. Marks will be awarded to all the answers written by the candidate. Best Marks for Part-B should be calculated by the evaluator carefully and award the marks at appropriate place. The Grand Total of Marks obtained by the candidate must be filled properly in the OMR Sheet for each Valuation and the same must be written in the hard copy supplied by the Controller of Examinations to ensure transparency. The Controller of Examinations will appoint qualified and experienced subject faculty of TKR College of Engineering & Technology as Scrutinizer for each subject in consultation with the Chief Examiner of that subject. The Scrutinizer should verify the answer scripts, OMR’s of Valuation-I & Valuation-II carefully so that all answers written by the candidate has got marks. Further, the Scrutinizer will verify the total marks in PART-A & PART-B of OMR including Best Marks Calculation in PART-B. Any deviation in the marks should be noted and corrected in the OMR with prior information to the Chief Examiner. The Marks finalized by the Scrutinizer also should be written in the hard copy supplied by the Controller of Examinations for each Evaluation separately to ensure transparency. The Chief Examiner will verify all the marks and calculate the Final Marks obtained by the candidate and write the same in the hard copy supplied by the Controller of Examinations. The Final Marks should be calculated must be as per the Confidential Circular (dated 02.02.2018) issued by the As the Evaluation Process has undergone three evaluations and strict scrutiny by the experienced & qualified faculty, the Result Processing Committee has decided not to have Recounting or Re-valuation for all subjects. But, the students will be given a chance to apply for Challenging Valuation for all the Theory Subjects (No Practical/lab subjects) within one week from the date of declaration of results. Whenever the students apply for Challenge valuation of answer scripts of Semester End Examinations, the students should submit their applications (through the HOD) within one week from the date of declaration of the results to the Examination Branch by paying Rs.10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) per subject, in the form of Demand Draft, Drawn in Favor of “TKRCET AUTONOMOUS”. Any application received after the due date of submission for Challenge valuation, shall not be accepted under any circumstances. On receipt of the DD, If the change in marks (Equal or above 15% of the maximum marks) occurs, an amount of Rs.9,000/- will be refunded to the student. Otherwise, the student will forfeit the total amount which he/she paid. Note: If a B.Tech student secures 22 marks in external exam & if he applies for CV after results are released then after CV he/she should secure 33 Marks (22+11) so that student can get back the amount of Rs.9,000/- & new marks will be updated. |
