About the Department
The Department of CSE (AI & ML) is led by Dr. B. Sunil Srinivas who is is a highly qualified individual with a distinguished academic background. He obtained his M.Tech degree from JNTUH SIT and earned his Ph.D. from JNTUA Ananthpuramu in 2018. Dr. Srinivas is an accomplished professional with 15 years of extensive experience in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). He has excelled in his academic and professional pursuits, and his notable achievements include the successful completion of a project funded by TEQIP-III, JNTUH, under the Collaborative Research Scheme.
The CSE (AI & ML) program was established in the year 2020, with an intake of 60 students. The program’s intake was increased to 120 students in the year 2021, and further increased to 180 students in the year 2022. This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to become successful professionals in these fields. AI and ML technologies are being used in various industries, including healthcare, finance, transportation, and more, and professionals with expertise in these areas are in high demand.
