DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING has been established since the inception of the institution in the year 2002 with an intake of 60, is headed by an efficient and eminent educationalist and researcher, Mrs. Sunitha.

AICTE has permitted for increase in intake from 60 to 120 at undergraduate level and VLSI system design at postgraduate level. The department has been accredited by NBA of AICTE.

The present intake of the Department is 240. The Department is also running 2nd shift Diploma Course from the academic year 2009-10 with an intake of 60.
